Judy Note: Over thirty four years ago I lost my well paying job because of the need to care for a critically ill daughter who eventually passed away. I was going through a divorce, within the next month every major appliance in my home broke down, I was unable to find another job and quickly used up my savings. With no income coming in, not even child support for my five children, my other teens stepped up to the challenge and found work in order to pay for their clothes and expenses.
